Bee Fast Track and Field

The Town of Lysander is excited to announce our FALL SESSION of Bee Fast Track and Field!

Track and field is an inclusive sport; it allows each participant an opportunity for personal growth, a social/ team experience, and promotes physical fitness. 

Our coaching staff has the following objectives in mind for YOUR CHILD:

-We will introduce the sport of running and many field events.

-We will provide a safe and social environment for your child to explore something new.

-We will encourage participants to BEE KIND, BEE BRAVE and BEE THEIR BEST!

Who: Children ages 3 years old – 5th grade

What: Non-competitive introduction to track and field events including 55 meter dash, hurdles, shot put, long jump, javelin, relays & more! Children will Learn, Socialize, and Have Fun! They will rotate to track stations with same age peers.

When: Sundays, September 7, 14, 21, 28 (Rain date October 5) 5:00 pm-6:00pm

Where: Baldwinsville Track and Field Stadium

Tuition: $65/participant and $60/ for additional sibling (includes T-shirt & finishing prize)

*Please note this is NOT a Play2Learn program, rather a program through the Town of Lysander. Kelly Vincentini, a former track and field runner and coach, along with her husband, Don Vincentini, (physical education teacher and coach) have been hired by the Town to put on this program. Baldwinsville track athletes will help to run the various stations as well.

*This program will max at 200 participants. Please note that children will be grouped by age and caregivers are required to stay for the hour to accompany their children to the stations.
