I feel very lucky to have recently had the opportunity to attend a class and experience firsthand all it has to offer. Ms. Kelly is dynamic and engaging and her love for both children and teaching is evident from the moment you walk into the room. As a speech-language pathologist, I was so excited to see all the language and social communication both modeled for the children and encouraged while engaging in carefully thought out and planned centers. It was such a natural way for these little ones to practice these important communication skills through various types of play! Not only are language and communication skills fostered, but Ms. Kelly also sets up centers focusing on all other important areas of development including early literacy, fine motor, gross motor and sensory play. Suggestions and ideas for differentiating each task are offered as well!! Seeing the smiles on each child’s face while learning through such fun and engaging play truly made me happy to know that such a program exists in our community!!
